GayCityUSA.com is a web site that displays advertisements. We accept only family friendly advertising that meets our ethical standards. GayCityUSA.com will NOT accept sponsorships or advertisements from companies advocating:
Tobacco use
Alcohol consumption
Firearms
Illegal use of drugs
Illegal Gambling
Illegal Pornography
Discrimination against any race, color, national origin, religion, disability or handicap, or sexual orientation
Products intended to enhance or encourage hatred or violence.
Any product or service that is in conflict with, or is not acceptable to, the local community or subject in which it appears.
Businesses and other organizations that primarily promote, sell, or overtly endorse any of the products or services mentioned above.
Unfair or deceptive acts or practices.
Any other promotions deemed inappropriate for families by GayCityUSA.com. This includes, but is not limited to, any advertising that is against local, state, national or international laws, or that violates copyright or trademark laws.
GayCityUSA.com makes reasonable efforts to ensure that only advertisements suitable for children 13 and over will appear on our web site. However, you should be aware that advertiser's web sites are not controlled by GayCityUSA.com, and most of the content is geared towards homosexuals and may not be suitable for ages under 13 years old. Advertisers may have different privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. When you click through to advertisers' web sites, you may get cookies directly from them. GayCityUSA.com does not see or use these cookies, and we do not control how other sites use cookies.
GayCityUSA.com advertisers accept responsibility for their own products, services, and advertising. GayCityUSA.com does not endorse specific advertisers, products, or services unless stated. It should not be assumed that any organization or individual that posts information on GayCityUSA.com endorses any advertiser's products or services, unless specifically stated in the posted information.

Three Ways To Advertise On GayCityUSA.com
1. FREE Banner/Link Exchange: LGBT oriented sites only, please!! - Here's how it works: you place one of my banners and/or our text link on your site in exchange for me placing one of your banners and/or your text link on GayCityUSA.com
Banner size: The banner size and placement should be similar for each of us for a win-win situation. Send me your banners and I will pick the one I like first. Then I will send you ours in a similar size for you to place. Once you've placed it, you'll notify me to let me know the url address. I will then place your banner ad on my site in an appropriate and/or similar placement and/or page within the site and email you with the url.
Text Links: Text link submissions should include site name, url, description and category. Placement will be depend upon category, popularity, and reciprocal placement.

Note: If your site is more of a regional site than a category site, then send the location such as city, state or country that your site serves.
Summary: If you place my ad in a very noticeable spot such as your homepage or on or near the top of your links page, then your ad has a greater chance of being placed in a more noticeable spot also.
2. Affiliate Program: If your company has an affiliate program, you may send me an invitation to join your affiliate program along with the proper url so that I may sign up to it and receive commissions from the sales and/or referrals. Send invites to: MisterMayor@GayCityUSA.com
3. Pay to Advertise: If your site or your ad is not LGBT related/oriented and/or you do not want to do a banner/text exchange and you don't have an affiliate program, you may opt to pay for advertising, if your ad is acceptable.*(see below.)
Rates may vary according to such variables as: size of ad, length of time advertised, placement of ad, popularity of item or product or service being pitched.
Most ads will go for $1.00 per day or $5.00 per week (7 Days) or $20 per month (30 Days). (Three days is minimum, 3 months is maximum.)
**All prices are subject to change as demand and popularity of the website changes.
Premium ads which will appear on the top 10 most popular pages or categories, such as the index page, celebrity pages, bear pages, pride pages, shopping page, directory page, lesbian pages, hanky-codes page, dictionary page, and all travel related pages go for $5.00 per day, $25 per week, or $100. per month for each page. One month maximum, one day minimum. (See Alexa rank here.)
Send your banners and/or text along with a placement or page (category) request to: MisterMayor@GayCityUSA.com and I will look over your request and get back to you with a price and placement option. If you like it, you will send me cash (such as a $5 bill) or check via snail mail.
*Unacceptable ads: No ads for adult sites will be allowed on GayCityUSA.com such as escorts, massage, sex-toys, adult DVDs, etc., however there is another site, www.GayCityXXX.com which does accept adult advertising as long as the ads are PG or R-Rated. We cannot accept any hardcore X rated ads of any kind on either site.
We do not accept paid ads for Real Estate Agencies, Making Money At Home, Earning A Degree Online, Insurance, Guns or Weapons, Tobacco or Alcohol, Right-Wing Propaganda, Contests, Sweepstakes, Subscriptions, Clipart or Computer Software, Employment Opportunities, Self-Help, Holistic Medicine, Fortune Telling or Astrology, Herbs, Drugs, Erectile Dysfunction, Menstruation, Hemorrhoid Treatments, or any other ads that someone might find boring, objectionable, gross, vile, derogatory, insulting, degrading, demeaning, or illegal.
Any charity ads must be pro-gay ads. Any other charity ads are not acceptable.
GayCityUSA.com never accepts pop-up ads of any kind including word pop-up on mouseover ads.
GayCityUSA's blog does not accept paid advertising. All ads there are affiliates.
