themes ranging from AIDS to the American Liberation movement. Take a look at

Rainbow Icon Archive Billed as the "original one-stop web
resource for information about popular symbols used by gay, lesbian, bisexual,
and transgender peoples to represent themselves.". The site has the
full history of each of the symbols (including the Rainbow Flag, Pink Triangle,
AIDS Ribbon and more) and has downloadable versions of them for your use too.
Swade's Tribal
Voice Lesbian History A chronology of significant dates in Lesbian
history from c. 580 BCE to the present. A good summary of the events.
The Blacklist A list of both famous (in some cases, infamous)
and lesser known people of African descent (living and dead) who are also known
to be gay. Short biographies accompany the listings and links are provided to
those individuals with additional web presences. A useful resource.
The Nazi
Persecution of Homosexuals The subtitle is An Annotated Bibliography of
non-Fiction Sources in English. Extensive references to the lesser known
stories of the Nazi's, the Holocaust and gay people. Good reference starting
point.
Andy Warhol Museum Take a virtual tour, find out about the man and
his art: generally immerse yourself in one of the most influential American
